During October 2025, the Department of Commerce (CA) and Commerce (PA) at Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women, Vaniyambadi carried out regular academic activities. The department recorded 16 working days for students and 21 working days for faculty members. 

Under Faculty Empowerment, several faculty members participated in professional development activities. Ms. Girija S attended one Faculty Development Program (FDP) and also served as a resource person for the Nan Mudhalvan programme. Ms. Reethiswari M. S participated in one webinar and contributed academically by publishing one book chapter. Dr. Uma Parameswari K made significant academic contributions by publishing one book, one journal article, and one book chapter during the month. 

Additionally, Ms. Abirami U, Ms. Aaysha Muskan V. M, and Ms. Harini each participated in one Faculty Development Program (FDP) to enhance their professional knowledge and teaching skills. Ms. Harini also published one journal article and one book chapter. These activities demonstrate the department’s continuous efforts toward faculty development, research contribution, and academic enrichment. 

During this month, no student co-curricular or extracurricular participations and no department activities were recorded in the report. The department mainly focused on regular academic responsibilities, faculty development programs, and research publications.
