During December 2025, the Department of Commerce (CA) and Commerce (PA) of Marudhar Kesari Jain College for Women (Autonomous), Vaniyambadi recorded several staff achievements, student activities, and departmental programmes.

Under Staff Achievements, Ms. M. S. Reethiswari participated in the NAAN MUDHALVAN Faculty Development Programme organized by Thiruvalluvar University on the topic “Employability Skills”, held from 15th December to 20th December 2025. She also participated in the Staff Fest on 30th December 2025 and secured First Prize in the Singing Competition. 

Ms. U. Abirami actively participated in several Faculty Development Programmes during the month. She attended a three-day FDP on Artificial Intelligence organized by Infosys BPM Ltd., Mysore from 2nd December to 4th December 2025. She also participated in a one-day FDP titled “Empowering Educators with AI: Tools, Techniques, and Best Practices” organized by the Department of Commerce at Sri Bhagavan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College on 10th December 2025. In addition, she attended a three-day FDP on “Research Methodology and Data Analysis in Commerce and Management” organized by the PG Department of Commerce, Sri Bhagavan Mahaveer Jain First Grade College, Robertsonpet, Kolar Gold Fields, from 3rd December to 5th December 2025. 

Regarding Student Activities, 14 students from I M.Com CA and II M.Com CA participated in a workshop organized at VIT on 19th December 2025. Ms. E. Gowthami (I B.Com PA) won the District Level Youth Parliament Competition held on 22nd December 2025 at Government Arts and Science College, Kariyampatti, Tirupathur District, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in collaboration with NSS. Ms. N. Saba Ambareen (I B.Com PA) participated in the State Level Competition of the 29th National Youth Festival 2026 – Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (Cultural Track) held on 23rd December 2025 at Youth Hostel, Adyar, Chennai. Ms. S. Suvathiga (III B.Com CA) secured Third Prize in the District Level Speech Competition conducted by Tamil Valarchi Thurai on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti celebrations on 2nd December 2025 at TMS Higher Secondary School, Tirupathur. 

Under Department Activities, the School of Commerce and Fin Edge Club jointly organized a one-day workshop on “GST Return Filing” on 24th December 2025. The resource person for the programme was CA P. Manikandan, Partner at Kalyani Praveen & Associates, Chartered Accountants, Vellore. The workshop provided students with practical knowledge about GST filing procedures and taxation practices, which are essential for commerce students.
